Schedule 6 (distribution of Commission’s undertaking) is amended as follows.

In paragraph 1(1)—
a
after “duty of the Boards”, insert “and Canal & River Trust”;
b
in paragraph (a) after “the other Boards”, insert “or, as the case may be, Canal & River Trust”;
c
after paragraph (a), insert—
aa
afford to Canal & River Trust as against the Boards such rights and safeguards as they may require for the proper discharge of their functions, and
d
in paragraph (b) after “functions of the Boards”, insert “or, as the case may be, Canal & River Trust”.
