EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order gives effect to the Doncaster Borough Council Permit Scheme.
The Doncaster Borough Council Permit Scheme is designed to control the carrying out of works in specified streets in Doncaster by imposing an obligation to obtain a permit from Doncaster Borough Council before undertaking the works.
Article 3 gives effect to the permit scheme, which will come into effect on 12th June 2012. The permit scheme referred to in this article is set out in the Schedule to the Order.
Article 4 applies Part 8 of the Traffic Management Permit Scheme (England) Regulations 2007 (which makes provision for the disapplication and modification of enactments in relation to specified works in specified streets) to the specified works and specified streets within the Doncaster Borough Council Permit Scheme.
A copy of the Doncaster Borough Council Permit Scheme is deposited and can be inspected at the offices of Doncaster Borough Council, Highway Network Management, Scarborough House, Chequer Road, Doncaster, DN1 2DB and is available to inspect on the Council’s website http://www.Doncaster.gov.uk.
