<P><Text>These Regulations amend the Road Vehicles (Individual Approval) (Fees) Regulations 2009 (“the <Abbreviation Expansion="Road Vehicles (Individual Approval) (Fees) Regulations 2009 (S.I. 2009/718)">2009 Regulations</Abbreviation>”).</Text></P>
<P><Text><Emphasis>Regulation 2(2)</Emphasis> inserts a new regulation 3A into the 2009 Regulations to provide for adaptations to their effect in Northern Ireland. Regulation 3A has the effect of making minor changes to the application of regulations 4, 5, 8 and 10. In particular, regulation 3A(b) has the effect that the out of hours fee for an original application (regulation 4(3)), for any further application (regulation 5(3)) or for an appeal (regulation 8(2)) will not apply in relation to an application made in Northern Ireland.</Text></P>
<P><Text>An impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no impact on the private or voluntary sectors is foreseen.
