EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
To the extent they are not already in force for the purposes mentioned in article 2(3), this Order brings into force the provisions of the Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002 mentioned in article 2(2) for those purposes on the day after the day on which this Order is made.
An Explanatory Memorandum has been prepared by the Home Office to accompany this Order and is available on www.legislation.gov.uk.

Explanatory Memorandum sets out a brief statement of the purpose of a Statutory Instrument and provides information about its policy objective and policy implications.
