This Order is the tenth commencement order made under the Legal Services Act 2007 (c. 29) (“the 2007 Act”).

Article 2 commences provisions of the 2007 Act connected with the provision of immigration advice and services. In particular, article 2 commences Part 1 of Schedule 18 which provides for persons to be authorised by designated qualifying regulators to provide immigration advice and services and Part 2 which makes amendments to the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 (c. 33) in connection with the provision of those services.
