The Secretary of State for Education, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1(4A), 22(1), (2)(c), (d) and (f), (5)(a) and (c), (7)(a), (c), (d) and (j) and 118(5) to (7) of the Care Standards Act 2000(1), makes the following Regulations:
2000 c.14. Section 1(4A) was inserted by the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (c.14), Schedule 5, paragraph 2(1) and (3). See section 121 for the definitions of “prescribed” and “regulations”.
