Citation, commencement and application1.

These Regulations may be cited as the Reporting of Prices of Milk Products (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2011, and come into force on 21st March 2011.

In regulation 2 (interpretation)—
(a)
““Commission Regulation” means Commission Regulation (EU) No 479/2010 laying down rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No 1234/2007 as regards Member States’ notifications to the Commission in the milk and milk products sector, and any reference to Annex I.A and Annex I.B to the Commission Regulation means Annex I.A and Annex I.B to the Commission Regulation as amended from time to time;”; and
(b)
““milk products” means those products specified in Article 2(3)(a) of, and Annexes I.A and I.B to, the Commission Regulation.”.

In regulation 3 (provision of information on prices of milk products) in paragraph (1) for “Article 6” substitute “Articles 2 and 3”.
These Regulations amend the Reporting of Prices of Milk Products (England) Regulations 2008, S.I. 2008/1428, to refer to Commission Regulation (EU) No 479/2010 laying down rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No 1234/2007 as regards Member States’ notifications to the Commission in the milk and milk products sector (OJ No L 135, 2.6.2010, p 26), which has replaced the Commission Regulation previously referred to in those Regulations.
A full impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no impact on the private or voluntary sectors is foreseen.
