The Wireless Telegraphy (Register) (Amendment) Regulations 2011
Before making the Regulations, OFCOM have given notice of their proposal to do so in accordance with section 122(4)(a) of the Act, published notice of their proposal in accordance with section 122(4)(b) of the Act and have considered the representations made to them before the time specified in the notice in accordance with section 122(4)(c) of the Act.
Citation and commencement1.
These Regulations may be cited as the Wireless Telegraphy (Register) (Amendment) Regulations 2011 and shall come into force on 14th March 2011.

These Regulations amend the Wireless Telegraphy (Register) Regulations 2004 (S.I. 2004/3155 as amended by S.I. 2006/340, S.I. 2006/1808, S.I. 2007/381, S.I. 2007/3389, S.I. 2008/689, S.I. 2008/2104, S.I. 2008/3193 and S.I. 2009/14) (“the Principal Regulations”).
The Principal Regulations require OFCOM to establish and maintain a public register of relevant information relating to wireless telegraphy licences or grants of recognised spectrum access of certain classes which apply to a station or apparatus operating within the frequency bands specified in the Schedule to the Principal Regulations.
Regulation 2 of these Regulations amends the Schedule of the Principal Regulations to include two additional frequency bands.
