FINANCIAL SERVICES AND MARKETS
These Regulations provide for a new special administration regime for investment banks (as defined in section 232 of the Banking Act 2009 (c. 1)).

This regulation applies if the administrator has pursued the first part of Objective 3 (as set out in regulation 10(1)(c)(i)) and thinks that it has been sufficiently achieved.

The administrator shall make an application under paragraph 79 of Schedule B1 (as applied by regulation 15).

An administrator who makes an application in accordance with paragraph (2) must send a copy to the FSA.
