The Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 38(1) of the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009.

 In accordance with section 38(2) of that Act, the Secretary of State is satisfied that the sectors specified in this order encompass the full range of skills, trades and occupations. Citation and commencement 1 This Order may be cited as the Apprenticeship Sectors (Specification) Order 2011 and comes into force on 1st March 2011. Specification of apprenticeship sectors 2 The sectors in the Schedule are specified for the purposes of Chapter 1 of Part 1 of the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009.
