Coming into force
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 8(2) and 24(1) of the Private Security Industry Act 20011, having regard to the definition of “prescribed” in section 24(1) of that Act.
In accordance with section 24(4) of that Act she has consulted with the Scottish Ministers, the Department of Justice in Northern Ireland, and the Security Industry Authority.
Citation and commencement1
These Regulations may be cited as the Private Security Industry Act 2001 (Licences) Regulations 2007 (Amendment) Regulations 2011 and shall come into force on 1st October 2011.
Amendments to the Private Security Industry Act 2001 (Licences) Regulations 20072

The Private Security Industry Act 2001 (Licences) Regulations 20072 shall be amended as follows.

For regulation 3 (application form to engage in licensable conduct), substitute the following:
3Form of the application to engage in licensable conduct
The form of the application for the grant of a licence and the information to accompany that application must be as determined by the Authority.

Schedule 13 (application form to engage in licensable conduct) is omitted.
