The Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009 (Commencement No. 5) Order 2011

The Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 269(4) and (8) of the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 20091.
Citation and interpretation1

This Order may be cited as the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009 (Commencement No. 5) Order 2011.

In this Order “the Act” means the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009.
Provisions coming into force on 1st March 20112
The following provisions of the Act come into force on 1st March 2011:
Section 12 for England only;
Sections 13 to 16;
Section 38.
Provisions coming into force on 6th April 20113
The following provisions of the Act come into force on 6th April 2011:
Section 1;
Sections 3 to 6;
Sections 11 for England only;
Section 17;
Sections 32 to 36 for England only;
Section 37;
Section 39 for England only;
Section 105.
Provisions coming into force on 1st August 20114
Sections 32 to 36 come into force in relation to Wales on 1st August 2011.
