EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations revoke the Changing of School Session Times (England) Regulations 1999 which set out the procedures to be undertaken by the governing body of a community, voluntary controlled or community special school before making any change in the session times of the school. Session times are the times at which each of the school sessions (or, if there is only one, the school session) is to begin and end on any day.

An impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no impact on the private or voluntary sector is foreseen. The impact on the public sector is minimal.
