The Secretary of State may give directions that development which is both of a description set out in column 1 of the table to Schedule 2 to the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2011 (descriptions of development and applicable thresholds and criteria for the purposes of the definition of “Schedule 2 development” and of a class described in the direction is EIA development for the purposes of those Regulations.
