In Schedule 2 to the Judicial Pensions and Retirement Act 19934 (transfer of accrued benefits), in paragraph 1(1) (interpretation), for the definition of “protected rights”5, substitute—

““protected rights” has the same meaning as in the Pension Schemes (Northern Ireland) Act 1993;”.
