This Order may be cited as the General Dental Council (Constitution of Committees) (Amendment) Rules Order of Council 2011 and comes into force on 31st January 2011.

Citation and commencement
1.
These Rules may be cited as the General Dental Council (Constitution of Committees) (Amendment) Rules 2010 and shall come into force on 31st January 2011.

This Order approves the General Dental Council (Constitution of Committees) (Amendment) Rules 2010, which are scheduled to the Order.
Rule 1 sets out citation and commencement.
Rule 2 sets out amendments to rule 4(1) of the General Dental Council (Constitution of Committees) Rules 2009, which were scheduled to SI 2009/1813. The amendments increase the maximum number of persons who may be appointed under rule 4(1) to the Interim Orders Committee, the Professional Conduct Committee, the Professional Performance Committee and the Registration Appeals Committee from 100 to 175 persons. The maximum number of persons who may be appointed to the Health Committee is increased from 50 to 175 persons.
