Coming into force in accordance with article 1
The Lord Chancellor, after consulting the Lord Chief Justice, makes the following Order in exercise of powers conferred by section 92(6) of and Part 1 of Schedule 11 to the Children Act 1989(1).
1. This Order may be cited as the Allocation and Transfer of Proceedings (Amendment) Order 2011 and shall come into force—
(a)in respect of Harlow County Court, Hitchin County Court, Leigh County Court, Lowestoft County Court, Penzance County Court and Whitehaven County Court, on 4th July 2011;
(b)in respect of Bishop Auckland County Court, Consett County Court and Epsom County Court, on 18th July 2011;
(c)in respect of Penrith County Court, Runcorn County Court and Southport County Court, on 1st August 2011;
(d)in respect of Salford County Court, on 8th August 2011.
2. The county courts listed in the Schedule to this Order shall cease to be family hearing centres.
3. The Allocation and Transfer of Proceedings Order 2008(2) shall be amended by omitting the entries in Schedule 1 to that Order relating to the county courts listed in the Schedule to this Order.

This Order amends the Allocation and Transfer of Proceedings Order 2008 so that the county courts listed in the schedule cease to be family hearing centres on the dates specified in article 1 of this Order.
