The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 4(1) and 4(6) of the Freedom of Information Act 20001.
The Secretary of State has consulted the Welsh Ministers in accordance with section 4(7) of that Act2.
Citation and commencement1

This Order may be cited as the Freedom of Information (Additional Public Authorities) Order 2010.

Except for the purposes of Part 2 of the Schedule, this Order comes into force on 1 October 2010.

For the purposes of Part 2 of the Schedule, this Order comes into force on 31 December 2011.

In this Order, “the Act” means the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

In Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Act (local government) after paragraph 35B insert—
35C
An urban development corporation established under section 135 of the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980.

In Part 6 of Schedule 1 to the Act (other public bodies and offices: general) insert, at the appropriate place in each case, the entries listed in the Schedule to this Order.
