8.—(1) The Electronic Commerce Directive (Racial and Religious Hatred Act 2006) Regulations 2007(1) are revoked, but that revocation shall not have effect in relation to a relevant offence committed wholly or partly before the coming into force of these Regulations.
(2) For the purposes of paragraph (1) an offence is committed wholly or partly before the coming into force of these Regulations if any of the conduct or events alleged to constitute the offence occurred before the coming into force of the Regulations.
