Coming into force
This order is made in exercise of powers conferred by paragraph 8(1) of Schedule 8, and paragraph 3(1) of Schedule 10, to the Traffic Management Act 20041.
The West Sussex County Council has applied to the Secretary of State for an order to be made, in exercise of those powers, in respect of part of the council’s area.
In accordance with the requirements of paragraph 8(3) of that Schedule 8 and paragraph 3(4) of that Schedule 10, the Secretary of State has consulted the Chief Constable of Sussex.
Accordingly, the Secretary of State2 makes this order.
Citation and commencement1
This order may be cited as the Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions Designation (No.2) (West Sussex) (Chichester and Crawley) Order 2010 and shall come into force on 12th April 2010.
Designation of civil enforcement area and special enforcement area under the Traffic Management Act 20042
The Secretary of State designates the part of the area of The West Sussex County Council specified in the schedule as—
a
a civil enforcement area for parking contraventions; and
b
a special enforcement area.
