The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 2(2) and (4), 101 and 146(1) to (2) of the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996(1), makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Housing Renewal Grants (Prescribed Form and Particulars) (Revocation) (England) Regulations 2010 and shall come into force on 31st October 2010.

2.  The instruments listed in column 1 of the table below (which have the references listed in column 2) are revoked to the extent indicated in column 3:

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations revoke in relation to England the Housing Renewal Grants (Prescribed Form and Particulars) Regulations 1996 which prescribed a form for applications for grants under Chapter 1 of Part 1 of the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 (for assistance from local housing authorities to the cost of works required for the provision of facilities for disabled persons in certain dwellings). The 1996 Regulations also prescribed particulars to be contained in such applications. The Regulations also make the following consequential revocations in relation to England:

(a)regulation 4 of the Housing Renewal Grants and Home Repair Assistance (Amendment) Regulations 1996 (S.I. 1996/3119);

(b)the Housing Renewal Grants (Prescribed Form and Particulars) (Amendment) Regulations 1997 (S.I. 1997/978);

(c)the Housing Renewal Grants (Prescribed Form and Particulars) (Amendment) Regulations 1998 (S.I. 1998/809);

(d)the Housing Renewal Grants (Prescribed Form and Particulars) (Amendment) Regulations 1999 S.I. (1999/1607);

(e)the Housing Renewal Grants (Prescribed Form and Particulars) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 1999 (S.I. 1999/2624);

(f)the Housing Renewal Grants (Prescribed Form and Particulars) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2000 (S.I. 2000/538);

(g)the Housing Renewal Grants (Prescribed Form and Particulars) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2001 (S.I. 2001/789);

(h)the Housing Renewal Grants (Prescribed Form and Particulars) (Amendment No.2) (England) Regulations 2001 (S.I. 2001/2386);

(i)the Housing Renewal Grants (Prescribed Form and Particulars) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2002 (S.I. 2002/667);

(j)paragraph 28 of the Schedule to the Secretaries of State for Education and Skills and for Work and Pensions Order 2002 (S.I. 2002/1397);

(k)the Housing Renewal Grants (Prescribed Form and Particulars) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2003 (S.I. 2003/2707); and

(l)the Housing Renewal Grants (Prescribed Form and Particulars) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2005 (S.I. 2005/3326).
