13.  In regulation 2 of the National Health Service (Functions of Strategic Health Authorities and Primary Care Trusts and Administration Arrangements) (England) Regulations 2002 (interpretation)(1), for the definition of “independent hospital” in paragraph (1), substitute—

““independent hospital” means a hospital as defined by section 275 of the National Health Service Act 2006 that is not a health service hospital as defined by that section;”.
