Sex Discrimination Act 1975 (Public Authorities) (Statutory Duties) Order 2006 (S.I. 2006/2930)

68.—(1) The Schedule to the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 (Public Authorities) (Statutory Duties) Order 2006 is amended as follows.
(2) In the entry relating to the governing body of an educational establishment for “local education authority” substitute “local authority (within the meaning of the Education Act 1996)”.
(3) For the entry “A local authority with respect to the pupil referral units it establishes and maintains in England by virtue of section 19 of the Education Act 1996” substitute “A local authority (within the meaning of the Education Act 1996) with respect to the pupil referral units it establishes and maintains in England by virtue of section 19 of that Act”.
(4) Omit the entry “A local education authority in England”.
