Children and Young Persons Act 1933 (c. 12) E+W

17.—(1) The Children and Young Persons Act 1933 is amended as follows.

(2) In section 96—

(a) for subsection (1) substitute—

“(1) In Part 2 of this Act “local authority” has the same meaning as in the Education Act 1996 (see section 579(1) of that Act).”;

(b) omit subsections (3), (4) and (4A).

(3) Omit sections 97 and 98.
