A draft of this Order has been laid before Parliament in accordance with section 1(3) of the European Communities Act 1972 1, and has been approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 1(3) of the European Communities Act 1972, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order as follows:

This Order may be cited as the European Communities (Definition of Treaties) (Stabilisation and Association Agreement) (Republic of Montenegro) Order 2009.

It shall come into force on the date on which the treaty specified in the Schedule enters into force for the United Kingdom. This date will be notified in the London, Edinburgh and Belfast Gazettes.

The treaty specified in the Schedule is to be regarded as a Community Treaty as defined in section 1(2) of the European Communities Act 1972.
SCHEDULE
The Stabilisation and Association Agreement between the European Communities and their Member States, of the one Part, and Republic of Montenegro, of the other part, signed at Luxembourg on 15th October 20072.
