The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council
The Welsh Ministers have, in accordance with section 19(6) of the Education Act 2005(1), advised the Secretary of State for Wales on a recommendation to be made to Her Majesty as to the exercise of the power conferred by section 19(2) of that Act.
The Secretary of State for Wales has made a recommendation to Her Majesty in accordance with that advice.
Her Majesty in pursuance of section 19(2) of the Education Act 2005 and in accordance with that recommendation is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered as follows:
1. This Order may be cited as the Education (Inspectors of Education and Training in Wales) Order 2009 and shall come into force on 10th December 2009.
2. The persons named in the Schedule to this Order are hereby appointed Her Majesty’s Inspectors of Education and Training in Wales or Arolygwyr Ei Mawrhydi dros Addysg a Hyfforddiant yng Nghymru with effect from 10th December 2009.

This Order appoints the persons named in the Schedule Her Majesty’s Inspectors of Education and Training in Wales, or in Arolygwyr Ei Mawrhydi dros Addysg a Hyfforddiant yng Nghymru.
2005 c.18. The functions of the National Assembly for Wales under that section were transferred to the Welsh Ministers by paragraph 30 of Schedule 11 to the Government of Wales Act 2006 (c.32).
