Commencement of the Charities Act 20062.
(1)
The day appointed for the commencement of the provisions of the Charities Act 2006 (“the 2006 Act”) specified in paragraph (2) is 30th September 2009.
(2)
The provisions of the 2006 Act are—
(a)
paragraph 143(3)(c) of Schedule 8 to that Act;
(b)
the entry in Schedule 9 to that Act relating to section 46(8) of the 1993 Act2; and
(c)
in so far as it relates to the provisions of the 2006 Act specified in sub-paragraphs (a) and (b), section 75(1) and (2) of that Act.
