Section 39 M1 of that Act (existing companies: English charities) is amended as follows.

For the heading substitute “ Becoming a community interest company: English charities ”.

In subsection (1) for “by special resolution change its name to comply with section 33” substitute “ become a community interest company ”.

In subsection (2) for “section 28(6) of the 1985 Act” substitute “ section 38A ”.
