Commencement

2.  The following provisions of the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008 shall come into force on 3rd August 2009 to the extent not already in force—

(a)section 98 (violent offender orders),

(b)section 99 (qualifying offenders),

(c)section 100 (applications for violent offender orders),

(d)section 101 (making of violent offender orders),

(e)section 102 (provisions that orders may contain),

(f)section 103 (variation, renewal or discharge of violent offender orders),

(g)section 104 (interim violent offender orders),

(h)section 105 (notice of applications),

(i)section 106 (appeals),

(j)section 107 (offenders subject to notification requirements),

(k)section 108 (notification requirements: initial notification),

(l)section 109 (notification requirements: changes),

(m)section 110 (notification requirements: periodic notification),

(n)section 111 (notification requirements: travel outside United Kingdom),

(o)section 112 (method of notification and related matters),

(p)section 113 (offences),

(q)section 114 (supply of information to Secretary of State etc.),

(r)section 115 (supply of information by Secretary of State etc.),

(s)section 116 (information about release or transfer),

(t)section 117 (interpretation of Part 7),

(u)section 148(2) (consequential etc. amendments and transitional and saving provision) so far as it relates to the provisions specified in paragraph (v), and

(v)in Schedule 27, paragraphs 31 and 32.
