EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order brings into force provisions in the Pension Act 2008 (c.30) (the “Act”) on 29th June 2009 and 1st July 2009. The provisions brought into force on 29th June 2009 concern amendments of the Pensions Act 2004 relating to contribution notices and financial support directions. The provision brought into force on 1st July 2009 concerns the review of certain aspects of a scheme established under section 67 of the Act.
A full Impact Assessment has not been published for this Order as no impact on the private, public or voluntary sectors is foreseen.
