22.—(1) This regulation applies to [F3pi marked TPE] [F4and Northern Ireland TPE] within the scope of the Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive by virtue of article 1(2) [F5(b)] of that Directive.
(2) [F6The equipment] is to be subject to periodic inspection in accordance with the requirements of [F7the Dangerous Goods Directive].

(4) The marking requirements applicable to periodic inspections [F9of pi marked TPE] [F10and Northern Ireland TPE] set out in [F11articles 14 and 15] of the Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive are to be complied with in relation to the equipment.
