71. In section 162C of the Companies Act 1985(1) (treasury shares: voting and other rights), in subsection (3), for “meetings under section 425” substitute “meetings summoned under section 896 of the Companies Act 2006”.
Section 162C was inserted by the Companies (Acquisition of Own Shares) (Treasury Shares) Regulations 2003 (S.I. 2003/1116), regulation 3.
