The Pension Schemes Act 1993 is amended as follows.

In section 127(2)(a) (transfer of rights and remedies to Secretary of State), for “the Companies Act 1985” substitute “ the Companies Act 2006 ”.

In Schedule 4 (priority in bankruptcy etc)—

a

in paragraph 3(1)(c) (contributions equivalent premiums), for “section 196 of the Companies Act 1985” substitute “ section 754 of the Companies Act 2006 ”;

b

in paragraph 4(1)(a) (interpretation), for “section 196(3) of the Companies Act 1985” substitute “ section 754(3) of the Companies Act 2006 ”.
