Prescribed period for giving undertaking

2. The period prescribed for the purposes of section 183(6) of the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007 (at the end of which the person will cease to be a member or co-opted member unless he has given a written undertaking that he will observe the authority’s code of conduct for the time being), is the period ending on 1st May 2008(1).

The period begins with the date on which section 183 comes into force; see the definition of “the prescribed period” in section 183(11).
