Additional Authorities

2.  In section 17(2) of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998(1) (duty to consider crime and disorder implications), at the end of subsection (2) (authorities to which the duty applies) there is inserted —

“the Greater London Authority(2);

the London Development Agency(3).

Transport for London(4).”.

Section 17(2) was substituted by paragraph 3 of Schedule 9 to the Police and Justice Act 2006.

The Greater London Authority is established under Part 1 of the Greater London Authority Act 1999 (c.29).

The London Development Agency is established under Part I of the Regional Development Agencies Act 1998 (c.45) as amended by Part V of the Greater London Authority Act 1999.
