Coming into force
The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 4(5) of Schedule 7 to the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 19921.
Citation and commencement1
This Order may be cited as the Social Security (Industrial Injuries) (Dependency) (Permitted Earnings Limits) Order 2008 and shall come into force on 9th April 2008.
Increase in earnings limits in respect of dependent children and qualifying young persons2
In paragraph 4(4) of Schedule 72 to the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992—
a
in paragraph (a), for “£180” substitute “£185”; and
b
in paragraph (b), for “£24” substitute “£25” and for “£180” substitute “£185”.
