Amendment of the NHS Professionals Special Health Authority (Establishment and Constitution) Order 2003
2. For article 4 of the NHS Professionals Special Health Authority (Establishment and Constitution) Order 2003(1) (constitution of the Authority) substitute the following article—
“4.—(1) The Authority shall consist of—
(a)a chairman;
(b)either 4 or 5 members who are not officers of the Authority;
(c)the persons who for the time being hold the office of Chief Executive and Director of Finance of the Authority; and
(d)either 2 or 3 other officers of the Authority.
(2) An officer of the Authority, other than the Chief Executive or Director of Finance, shall not be appointed as a member of the Authority if the number of members who are officers of the Authority would exceed the number of members, other than the chairman, who are not officers of the Authority.”.
