Coming into force
The Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 9 and 12 of, and Schedule 3 to, the Superannuation Act 19721.
In accordance with section 9(5) of that Act, he has consulted with representatives of local education authorities and of teachers and with representatives of other persons likely to be affected.
In accordance with section 9(1) of that Act these Regulations are made with the consent of the Treasury2.
