This Order brings into force provisions of the Welfare Reform Act 2007. Those provisions are paragraph 10 of Schedule 4 (post-commencement up-rating of incapacity benefit and severe disablement allowance) and section 29 (transition relating to Part 1) so far as it relates to paragraph 10.
This will enable regulations to be made that may provide that section 150 of the Social Security Administration Act 1992, as it relates to incapacity benefit and severe disablement allowance, is to have effect with prescribed modifications.
An impact assessment has not been prepared for this instrument as it has no impact on business, charities or the voluntary sector.
