The Commissioners for Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 5, 12A(1) and (5), 189 and 191 of the Social Security Administration Act 1992(1), sections 5, 10A(1) and (5), 165 and 167 of the Social Security Administration (Northern Ireland) Act 1992(2) and sections 132(2) and 135(2) of the Health and Social Care Act 2008(3), make the following Regulations:

1992 c. 5; section 5 was amended, and section 12A was inserted, by section 132 (1) and (3) of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (c.14). Section 189 was amended by the Social Security Contributions (Transfer of Functions, etc.) Act 1999 (c. 2). Section 191 is cited because it gives the meaning of “prescribed”.

1992 c. 8; section 5 was amended, and section 10A was inserted, by section 135 (1) and (3) of the Health and Social Care Act 2008. Section 165 was amended by the Social Security Contributions (Transfer of Functions, etc.) Order 1999 (S.I. 1999/671). Section 167 is cited because it gives the meaning of “prescribed”.
