3. For the purposes of section 20(3)(e) of the Act, the following purposes are specified—
(a)determining whether to impose, or imposing, penalties under section 15 of the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006(1) (restrictions on employment); and
(b)providing facilities, or arranging for the provision of facilities, for the accommodation of persons under section 4 of the Act(2).

Section 4 of the Act has been amended by section 49 of the Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002 (c. 41), section 10 of the Asylum and Immigration (Treatment of Claimants, etc) Act 2004 (c. 19) and section 43 of the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 (c. 13).
