Regulation 4
SCHEDULE 1CONSEQUENTIAL AMENDMENTS
1. The Optical Regulations shall be amended in accordance with the following paragraphs.
2. In regulations 4(1)(b), (2) and (4), 5(1) and (2)(b), 6(1), 9(1), (1A), (1B), (1C), (2) and (3) and 11, for “ophthalmic medical practitioner or optician”, in each place where it occurs, substitute “ophthalmic practitioner”.
3. In regulations 4(1)(b) and 6(1) omit “whose name is included in an ophthalmic list or supplementary list”.
4. In regulation 4(1)(c) omit “or optician”.
5. In regulation 9(1), (1A) and (1B), for “the Ophthalmic Services Regulations”, substitute “the POS Regulations”.
6. In regulation 9(1), for “paragraph 10(1) of Schedule 1 of the Ophthalmic Services Regulations”, substitute “regulation 13(2), (5) and (6) of the General Ophthalmic Services Contracts Regulations 2008(1)”.
