Provisions coming into force on 19th May 2008 extending to the whole of the United Kingdom
3. 19th May 2008 is the day appointed for the coming into force of paragraph 15(1) of Schedule 9 to the Act (amendments) and section 63(1) (amendments and repeals) in so far as it relates to that paragraph.

Paragraph 15 of Schedule 9 to the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 amends sections 56 and 75 of the Data Protection Act 1998 (c.29).
