The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 29(1) and (2) of the Gangmasters (Licensing) Act 2004(1), makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Gangmasters (Licensing) Act 2004 (Commencement No. 5) Order 2007.
2. The following provisions of the Gangmasters (Licensing) Act 2004 come into force on 6th April 2007—
(a)section 6(1) (prohibition of unlicensed activities) for purposes related to work falling within section 3(1)(b);
(b)section 12 (offences: acting as a gangmaster, being in possession of false documents etc) for purposes related to work falling within section 3(1)(b);
(c)section 13(1), (2) and (4) (offences: entering into arrangements with gangmasters) for purposes related to work falling within section 3(1)(b);
(d)section 27 (exclusion of provisions relating to employment agencies and businesses) for purposes related to work falling within section 3(1)(b);
(e)paragraph 20 of Schedule 2 for purposes related to work falling within section 3(1)(b).

This Order brings into force the provisions of the Gangmasters (Licensing) Act 2004 specified in article 2 of the Order.
