The National Lottery Act 2006 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2007

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 22 of the National Lottery Act 20061.

Citation and interpretation1.

This Order may be cited as the National Lottery Act 2006 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2007.

Commencement2.

Section 9 of the National Lottery Act 2006 shall come into force on 1st April 2007.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order brings into force section 9 of the National Lottery Act 2006 which amends section 32 of the National Lottery etc. Act 1993 to provide that the proceeds of any investments of money held in the National Lottery Distribution Fund are to be treated as if paid into the Fund by virtue of section 5(6) of that Act.
