This Order may be cited as the A46 Trunk Road (A46/M40 Junction 15 (Longbridge) Bypass) (Detrunking) Order 2007. and shall come into force on 1st February 2008.

In this Order—
i
“the new trunk roads” means the new highways which the Secretary of State proposes to construct referred to in article 2(2)(ii) of the A46 Trunk Road (A46/M40 Junction 15 (Longbridge) Bypass) Order 20073; and
ii
“the trunk road” means the Stratford to Warwick Trunk Road (A46).

The length of the trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order shall cease to be a trunk road from the date on which the Secretary of State notifies the Warwickshire County Council that the new trunk roads are open for traffic.

THE SCHEDULELENGTH OF THE TRUNK ROAD CEASING TO BE A TRUNK ROAD
The length of the trunk road ceasing to be a trunk road is located on the A46 Stratford to Warwick southbound carriageway from a point approximately 23 metres north east of the Watery Lane junction with the A46 to a point approximately 160 metres south west of the Vicarage Lane junction with the A46 for a distance of 386 metres and is shown by broad black dashes on the plan numbered HA 10/MP/083, marked “The A46 Trunk Road (A46/M40 Junction 15 (Longbridge) Bypass) (Detrunking) Order 2007” signed by authority of the Secretary of State for Transport, and deposited at DfT Records Management Branch, Floor 13 (IMD), Ashdown House, St Leonards on Sea, Hastings, East Sussex TN37 7GA.
