The regulator must exercise its relevant functions so as to ensure compliance with Article 6(1) and (3) of the End-of-Life Vehicles Directive.

When interpreting the End-of-Life Vehicles Directive for the purposes of this paragraph, “establishment or undertaking” must be read as “operator”.
