Finding of not guilty before conclusion of the defence70

The court may at any time after the close of the case for the prosecution find the accused not guilty of a charge, provided that the prosecuting authority has been given an opportunity to address the court on such a finding.

The power under paragraph (1) may only be exercised at the invitation of the judge advocate.
