The competent authority and the enforcement authority U.K.

3.—(1) The competent authorities for the purposes of Regulation (EC) No. 850/2004 are—

(a) in England F1 ..., the Environment Agency;

[F2 (aa) in Wales, the Natural Resources Body for Wales;]

(b) in Northern Ireland, the Department of [F3 Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs]; and

(c) in Scotland, the Scottish Environment Protection Agency.

(2) They are also the enforcement authorities for the purposes of these Regulations.
