The A1(M) Motorway (Junction 58, Junction 60, Junction 61, and Junction 62 Circulatory Carriageways) (Trunking) Order 2007

The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by section 10 of the Highways Act 1980(1) and now vested in him(2):

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the A1(M) Motorway (Junction 58, Junction 60, Junction 61 and Junction 62 Circulatory Carriageways) (Trunking) Order 2007 and shall come into force 17th December 2007.

(2) In this Order, all measurements of distance are measured along the route of the relevant highway.

2.  The lengths of highways described in the Schedule shall become trunk roads from the date when this Order comes into force.

3.  The centre line of each of the new trunk roads is indicated by a heavy black line on the plan numbered HA 10/TD/24 marked “The A1(M) Motorway (Junction 58, Junction 60, Junction 61 and Junction 62 Circulatory Carriageways) (Trunking) Order 2007”, signed by authority of the Secretary of State for Transport and deposited at the DfT Records Management Branch, Floor 13 (IMD), Ashdown House, St Leonards on Sea, Hastings, East Sussex TN37 7GA.

SCHEDULELENGTHS OF HIGHWAY BECOMING TRUNK ROADS

The lengths of highway becoming trunk roads are:

(1) The circulatory carriageway of the A68 at Junction 58, Burtree, of the A1(M) Motorway (Site Plan No. 1);

(2) The circulatory carriageway of the A689 at Junction 60, Bradbury, of the A1(M) Motorway (Site Plan No. 2);

(3) The circulatory carriageway of the A177 at Junction 61, Bowburn, of the A1(M) Motorway (Site Plan No. 3); and

(4) The circulatory carriageway of the A690 at Junction 62, Carville, of the A1(M) Motorway (Site Plan No. 4).
